For their food division, we are seeking an R&D Technologist to act as the technical architect behind new product launches, transforming innovative concepts into high-quality, scalable manufacturing realities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, testing, and optimization of new and existing food products.
• Define quality standards for raw materials and finished goods while balancing cost efficiency with excellence.
• Manage the transition from lab to production, overseeing industrial trials and preparing technical formulations/dossiers.
• Market Research: Monitor global raw material trends, pricing, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
• Conduct experiments with alternative ingredients to improve product performance and sustainability.
• Coordinate all technical documentation and manufacturing guidelines for seamless operations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Relevant experience in R&D or Product Development, preferably within the FMCG food sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on optimizing complex formulations.
• Proactive owner mindset and the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) for production site trials.
• Fluency in English is essential.
